Our Story
The Church of the Redeemer stands as a testament to the enduring strength of the Mvskoke (Creek) people. Rooted in the Episcopal tradition yet deeply grounded in our Indigenous identity, we are a Native-led mission that honors the sacredness of our land and the resilience of our ancestors.
Our journey began with a vision of hospitality - a place where all are welcome, regardless of background. We bridge cultures through our dual-language worship, where English and Mvskoke (Creek) readings create a space of reverence and accessibility for our community.
We are more than a place of worship; we are a community of teaching and recovery. From our weekly community meals to our dedicated Mvskoke language education, we are committed to nurturing the whole person and preserving our cultural heritage for generations to come.
